Retailers stopped stocking when things shut down. An example is rental car companies selling off parts of their fleets. Now that things are opening back, they are anticipating demand and attempting to meet it.
- dalbasal 5y agoSo... that's the "restocking" part. If I understood the article, the restocking part of the story is a little more speculative, and short lived. Underlying that is a >10% increase in consumer demand... possibly more in some (non-US) markets. I don't understand why.
