- jancsika 5y agoThere's also the Stravinsky of "Agon," which coincidentally has an opening with a repeated C above middle C in the trumpet. That's the first piece where he used the twelve-tone technique. It's a nice piece, and while I enjoy his serialist period it seems he felt forced in that direction during that point in his career due to a critical mass of dickhead gatekeeper composers who considered any non-serialist music as inferior.
