At least on wallstreet, early on I noticed, sometimes people simply lose awareness (social interaction play's critical role) and end up doing illegal things, without knowing it, some end up in jail. I think if person ends up in amoral/illegal group, eventually he will end up doing amoral/illegal/unethical things, there is no guard except to avoid such groups proactively.
