Jan 6 was followed by a huge ban wave, even more people on the political fringe migrating to the so-called "alt-tech" (a term which is not just coincidentally similar to the "alt-right") and sites that do not really have clear stances or have been resistant to prioritize anti-harassment features and policies (for instance, Basecamp and Substack)
