Ask HN: Do your Monday.com commercials feature men or women?
I've gotten hundreds of Monday.com commercials over the past few weeks -- Youtube, I think, mostly.
Most feature attractive women.
I think today I might have had my first man, and I may have caught of glimpse of macho manly man, but I'm not sure -- I didn't stick around long enough.
Point is, does Monday.com pitch based on perceived sexual preference/receptability to the Monday.com message based on the sex of the worker/actor/model?
And, is this common?
I used to work for a data broker and we would sell audience data based on all sorts of things, including race, even though it was technically illegal.
I'm not suggesting this is illegal -- just interesting.
