Even today the M1 still feels slow occasionally -- hanging for a second or two, browser taking multiple seconds to launch, etc. Granted, that could be due to I/O or power management, but in any case it's clear that software is not making proper use of hardware.
- pentae 5y agoWhat you just described only happens for me with Chrome on my M1 MBA. Try loading Safari, its instant.
