The type of people who continue to discuss politics and say "X IS political" even when it clearly isn't, are the most toxic people to be around particularly in the workplace. I really wish my current workplace implements such rules. Since we hired more of the activist variety of techies, the company culture went to shit, and became like a parody of an SF startup.
