- mgarfias 5y agoThere’s easier ways to kill mass amounts of people than a rifle. And trying to take guns away from the lawful is like trying cars away from non drunk drivers cuz drunks drive cars.

Or in the real world where the rest of us live, not strawman land, like taking your license and right to drive away if you get a or DWI/DUI - which is what happens to normal people. If you're rich and have good enough lawyers, you can become a congressman. Cars are licensed, insured, and highly regulated. Do the same thing and we'll be happier than we are now.
- mgarfias 5y agoCars aren’t a specifically enumerated right. Also, you don’t need a permission slip to buy one. And you can buy one while underage
- flowerlad 5y agoGuns aren't a specifically enumerated right either. (Arms are, but that can range anywhere from bow & arrows to nuclear bombs.) Why is it that you need to be over a certain age to arm yourself? That's not specified in the constitution. If that restriction is reasonable then perhaps more restrictions can be added, such as requiring annual mental health checks.
