I believe in some jurisdictions you're obliged to provide this kind of information - especially mental issues that could put others at risk. You'll have to be more specific about what country you live in. A lot of larger companies also make you pass a psychological test of some sort. That may or may not uncover something, but I somehow doubt it unless it's something severe. Generally would avoid putting that in if you're in the clear legally.
