How so? You can navigate much more easily inside the less pager that displays manpages than inside a browser. Moreover, it is easier to copy/paste (or simply read) snippets of the manpage into your terminal, after all everything happens in the same window. Opening a web browser and finding the man page also seems much more cumbersome than typing "man". I would never have thought that it would seem easier to anybody!
