Sounds more like a PMU reset than anything else...it would be interesting to see if the 10 1-second button presses are really necessary.
My DELL has a press and hold the power button an arbitrary period of time to do something similar when it won't reboot.
- eloisant 6y agoI think those presses are to make sure the electricity is completely drained out of the laptop.
