i think the author is aware of the trouble they could get into for doing realistic CFD on a current F1 car. > The only problematic geometry was the brake ducts which were in pretty bad shape, so I went ahead and made some simplified parts to replace them

Under what authority / jurisdiction would the author get in trouble for doing these computations? Surely the FIA doesn't have any authority over random civilians.
