cmake shudder No thanks. I am one whom cmake has tried. When it works, it works well. When it doesn't, it is utterly impenetrable. I actively avoid any GitHub projects that use cmake because it's just normally too painful to use, and it brings on an episode of PTS. Just writing this is causing my blood pressure to rise.
