> Robinhood's zero cost trades
Robinhood is a terrible example. First of all, their trades are NOT zero cost - they mark up all trades. That's how they make money. Their claims of being free are fraudulent and they have paid fines because of it - and yet they continue to lie to falsely advertise "commission free". They're in no way decentralized and have been complicit in market manipulation, eg in the GME case. They're a terrible company.
