Oh it'd be nice but it'd be as expensive if not more than a first class flight. The sleeper car I got for the 2 night trip cost me quite a chunk of change.

- phamilton 5y agoI wonder if high speed rail would be cheaper. Is the primary cost driver time or miles? I could see a scenario where getting a sleeper car for 10 hours would be cheaper than getting one for 36 hours.
- kjrose 5y agoIt doesn't work out that way for the shinkansen in Japan unfortunately. I'd be surprised if Canada was much different.
