That’s... not true. The EU has clearly stated the need to regulate the group of technologies broadly marketed as “AI” and that the rapid evolution of the technology means there is not point to make an exact definition of it at this time. Basically a “we’ll know it when we see it” approach

- fighterpilot 5y agoSorry, I don't understand. The first quote is from page 60 in document X, and the second quote is from page 1 in document Y, where X and Y are both behind the same hyperlink.
- nemetroid 5y agoI think the "page 60" part is just a mistake by the author. The text they're quoting is on page 39, just above footnote 60.
