- jka 6y agoAs someone trying to learn more about the current COVID situation in India: has PM Modi requested aid from other countries? I see a mention that he was briefed about attempts to import oxygen on 2021-04-16: https://pib.gov.in/PressReleseDetail.aspx?PRID=1712222 https://pib.gov.in/PressReleseDetail.aspx?PRID=1712222 Edit: addendum: I do realize that the Bloomberg opinion article relates primarily to vaccine supplies; the two issues are somewhat related since they both involve international response to a crisis situation.
- throwaway4good 6y agoWhat exactly are the vaccine components that the US has an export ban on? Couldn't India source them elsewhere (Europe, China)?
- obamaaccountooo 5y agohe blocked raw materials for the vaccine that's why india couldn't produce enough vaccines. Xiden is murderer
