You are absolutely dead on right. We need to stop trying to bang on a model that isn't working and be willing to think even more outside of the box. All of this is essentially ways to create hydroelectric plants without the water. If we can find a way to create more of them without massive disruption it'd probably be the most effective. We need to find a solution that isn't just based on good wishes.
