- gadrev 5y agoI guess it's US only? Can't access from EU.
- bmn__ 5y agoWorks for me, also EU. Use torsocks and youtube-dl to circumvent your region blocking.
- imagineerschool 5y agoConfirmed, can't access it from Canada, but with a VPN to the US, it's available. Who makes these choices?
- jmartrican 5y agoI didn't even know YouTube did this.
- oivey 5y agoIt’s similar to the BBC blocking non-UK streamers.
- WandOfALeftFoot 5y agoThe BBC is not free though.
- no_wizard 5y agoNeither is PBS. It’s funded through grants, donations and government funding via the Corporation for Public Broadcasting[0] [0]: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corporation_for_Public_Broadcasting https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corporation_for_Public_Broad...
- monocasa 5y agoRight, but even to endusers, the BBC isn't free, unlike PBC.
- DanBC 5y agoThe BBC is free. There's no charge to use the BBC. There's a TV licence, but that's payable if you watch any live tv as it's broadcast.
- monocasa 5y agoOr iPlayer. Really consuming any BBC media requires a TV license legally.
- DanBC 5y agoYou do need a licence if you watch any tv live as it's broadcast, or BBC iPlayer. But you'd need a licence if you only ever watch Channel 4 and never watched any BBC content. The licence is not tied to BBC content - you don't need a licence to use the website or listen to BBC sounds or use BBC radio. The licence is tied to watching live tv as it's broadcast or BBC iPlayer.
- tyingq 5y agoOn the off chance PBS allows access outside the US: https://player.pbs.org/widget/partnerplayer/2365792793/ https://player.pbs.org/widget/partnerplayer/2365792793/
- piva00 5y agoSurprisingly it worked here in Sweden, thank you!
- throwaway1090 5y agoWorks in India.
- imagineerschool 5y agoExtra confusing that they share a lot of footage. The 2020 release is an update more than a new work.
