Lastpass suffered multiple reputational hits including data breaches, multiple trackers in their apps etc. The parent company of NSO Group (Elliot Management) bought them and there was still not an exodus. In fact I think they might be thriving. Disclaimer: I work in the IAM and PAM space and been involved design, UX and architecture decisions at saas pass.
