Each US state is not a single economy, whereas Greece is an independent economy with pegged currency. Multi-speed economies exist in many countries (believe it or not, even inside greece).
- PanosJee 15y agoand this is exactly the problem of EU. Single currency without common economy. Greece has a strong currency but a weak economy. It does not work!
