On the other hand, I can tell a 1967 from a 1968 Camaro (hint: the running lights/turn signals in the grill are round vs. a rounded rectangle on non RS cars). But they always did. If you come to it with a fresh eye, most cars of a given class/size in any era are pretty similar.
