For a regular SWE IC role at the bottom of firm hierarchy, not a quant, so I'm sure far from best paid at each of them. Not a single one made into their list! Among HFT names there's just G-Research, sadly I haven't had the pleasure to interview with them but I'm sure even they pay at least 6 figures to most people. And "Facebook - Median Total Compensation: £86,423 - Median Base Salary: £78,953" - someone at glassdoor clearly has no clue what Total Compensation means. Or maybe even gets paid to not know any better, seeing how pro-employer that site is.
