  Apple seems to think its OK according to this: https://support.apple.com/en-gb/guide/itunes/itns2957/windows https://support.apple.com/en-gb/guide/itunes/itns2957/window... There's probably a bunch of caveats why even this isn't allowed for whatever "reasons".
