I work in cyber security ML engineering (open for interviews, hmu) and frequently see federal contractor firms hiring for cyber data/engineer positions for USPS. Always puzzled me.

- seppin 6y agoThe Post Office is a tech company, etc.
- sergiomattei 6y agoI don't see why this is hard to understand. Nationwide logistics aren't simple. They have to evolve with the times to modernize/automate their operations and adapt to new, unknown cyber threats. The mail is quite important.
- CyberDildonics 6y agoWhat is cyber data?
- wil421 6y agoI’ve recently heard people use cyber to mean cyber security.
- TedDoesntTalk 6y agoMy guess is that’s it is data on or relating to computing devices rather than other data (for example, sales figures at a carpet store). I’m just guessing, though. It’s a good question.
