FWIW, one is a teacher and the other is a student. I'm a little confused though - this post says it's from 10 hours ago, the other says it's from 8 hours ago.

I'm a little confused though - this post says it's from 10 hours ago, the other says it's from 8 hours ago. Why was the other one chosen?

- dang 5y agoWhen we re-up a post we adjust the timestamps relative to the re-up time. If you look at the item IDs in the URLs you can clearly see which post was earlier. Sorry, I know it's confusing! It's just that the other strategies we've tried have been even more confusing.
