What exactly does "inner life" mean? Also, there is the problem of delimiting the universe; I should think there is no "one proper" way to do so. A pile of molecules (or atoms) is not destroyed by physical violence, but a table can be destroyed in this way, although, a table is made of molecules/atoms/quarks/etc. There are others than spacetime, e.g. quantum entanglement (which, I should think can be explained by being backward in time from the point of view of both experimenters, rather than forward like ordinary signals are; apparently there are some actual reports about this idea (or some other idea having to do with backward in time, maybe not this one, I have not actually read it) too); an unentangled state is a special case because it can be represented as a tensor product of smaller states, and it may depend on the reference too. I am not trying to deny panpsychism, but merely to define it better. Otherwise, how can you confirm or deny it?
