I left my last job after being paid doing nothing for more than 6 months. The management was terrible in so many ways, it would be too long to explain here. At first it was nice to spend my days on private stuff (I was "working" remotely because Covid), but after a while I was bored and it was hard to continue this way. I highly suspect that a large amount of the employees were in the same situation, starting with my direct manager.
