You are right, this is the correct counter-argument to oppose here. However, I wonder to what extent overwhelmed hospitals reflect relatively low hospital capacity, especially in crowded cities.
- midasuni 6y agoAre they normally overwhelmed to this extent in April? I’ve never heard of mention of it before when I’ve been in Delhi talking to locals at this time of year in the past, but open for figures like hospital occupancy etc.
- isolli 6y agoI don't think they are. What I'm saying is that overwhelmed hospitals could be a less dramatic signal (or an earlier signal) of the epidemic taking off.
