Show HN: Machine learning approach to crypto investing
- wowok 5y agoSlots are a machine, right? Ok fine it's a bad joke. Just a reminder that: 1) everyone makes money in a bull market 2) bull markets don't last forever 3) this app is as useless as technical analysis stay safe and have fun out there
- gigama 5y agoMusk's digital dart board... funny! My crypto investing strategy is mainly to only look at assets that are not based on proof-of-work. Electricity consumption is only one aspect, all the hardware built to do nothing but search sha256 hashes seems equally wasteful. I prefer the idea of proof-of-stake and smart contracts as a less volatile, long-term investment. My 2 cents.
- wowok 5y agoWell said. Pros and cons both ways, but I suspect proof-of-stake or a similar consensus protocol will win out in the end. Though in the spirit of decentralization, it can't hurt to have a variety of competing consensus protocols across the crypto ecosystem.
