I looked into staking eth to do my part. But my total return on staking is comprised of price appreciation, carrying costs, slippage in the form of fees (gas I think?), and finally the yield I get from the network for staking. I am worried about price movement intruding into this scheme. How can the price of ethereum be stabilized so that staking or other forms of lending or collateralization can be done without the price drift wiping out the yield?
