Ask HN: Are there any software engineering books you can read casually?
Each time I pick up a software engineering book, I need to sit around the table with my code editor opened or at least a notebook to take notes. I wonder if there any books that I can read while I am commuting, for example, but that would still bring some technical knowledge and expertise in the field?

- clusmore 5y agoCame here to say this. I would also recommend Coders at Work[0], which is a series of interviews with notable programmers. [0]: https://books.google.com.au/books?id=nneBa6-mWfgC https://books.google.com.au/books?id=nneBa6-mWfgC
