Show HN: Protect the Privacy of Your Email
- bifrost 5y agoYou might want to add a description or some details :)
- vad_n__ 5y agothank you, bifrost For-Privacy allows you to get a unique email alias per website to hide your real email and still able to get emails from the service. You can track down who leaked your email and take action. Block all emails to this address with just one click.
- geoah 5y agoSome examples and screenshots would be nice. No mention on whether this is a forwarding service or full email service. An faq would also be nice. Ie: Can I use my own domain? I’d be worried that the service stops working after some years and i lose access to everything.
- vad_n__ 5y agothank you, geoah, for extremely valuable feedback!
- bifrost 5y agoYes, but add this info to your site :) As it sits now, I wouldn't try it really...
- sonmicrosystems 5y agoEven though I'm the developer of a "rival" service [1], it's a good news that more and more email aliases services are created. That means email alias is becoming mainstream. [1]: https://simplelogin.io https://simplelogin.io
- vad_n__ 5y agoI would say privacy overall is becoming a mainstream. People become more aware of consequences. Awesome job with simplelogin, btw.
