- ramshanker 5y agoEagerly waiting for the day this is done to x64 AND Memory. Imagine one of these Jumbo dies for Compute and Networking, another for Memory. Current Top 500th super computer have ~30,000 cores.... We shouldn't be far away. :)
- GoOnThenDoTell 5y agoAre these joined chiplets? Or legit a giant die?
- jecel 5y agoIt is one big die, so they have to deal with routing around bad cores. On the positive side the wire density to the neighbors is a lot higher than you could get with chiplets.
- GoOnThenDoTell 5y agoCan they fit more than one per wafer? If it’s just 1 per wafer I’m wondering why they didn’t make it a circle to max out the die area
- thunkshift1 5y agoWaiting to see some performance numbers. So far they are all tight lipped about how well the wse does.
