600k Carts Created in Grofers as Indians Fear Another Covid-19 Lockdown Today
- webmobdev 5y agoContext: Government notified that PM Modi would address the nation today at 8:45 PM. Many indians worried and panicked as many of his such national addresses in the past announced sudden new or changed policies with very short notice to plan for it. Grofers, a grocery delivery service noticed a surge in their service probably in anticipation that the PM would announce another lockdown due to huge second wave of COVID-19 cases overwhelming our healthcare system. (Wonder what their cart abandonment rate was after everyone learnt there wasn't going to be another lockdown?).
