Nice for someone (corporation ) to do research into this area. Our company of around 50 has been remote for 9 years. We term too many meetings as 'meeting pollution' as it has the very same affect on your work environment as pollution does to the natural environment. Managers must be continuously vigilant to guard their teams from meeting overrun and over scheduling. We meet quarterly to review our meeting schedules and combine or eliminate standing meetings. Our goal is to have non management be involved in no more than five hours of meetings a week. Additionally, meetings are strictly prohibited on Wednesday. This gives everyone a breather and an opportunity for uninterrupted work.
