Android Introduction for a Java Developer?
What are good books, online tutorial and courses these days to learn Android programming for somebody who knows Java?
- sto_hristo 6y agoAndroid is a framework like any other big one, so if you have existing experience navigating other big frameworks, you should mentally feel at ease starting directly with google's documents and bypassing traditional tutorials/courses, which will slow you down with their slow pace and basics you already may know (like some patterns that appear everywhere): https://developer.android.com/guide https://developer.android.com/guide Everything is well explained, examples galore. Quite impressed with the documentation, to be honest.
