You are a better man than me. I would have charged back just before the credit cards limit on disputes (I think it’s 120 days for Amex). Ive been looking at a new laptop to upgrade my x200s. After reading about their supply chain issues and awful support (even for the hinge on the Librem 13) I’ve nixxed them, despite my beliefs MOST aligning with their ethos. Looking at System 76 Lemur pro or maybe an ThinkPad x13 amd. Though Lenovo is basically antithetical to my ethos, the eye build quality is crazy good. Maybe a MacBook Air M1 but I’d like to play a game or two here or there (nothing crazy, like KSP or something during lunch). I’m kinda interested in the 11th gen intel procs. But a lot of manufacturers are moving to soldered ram (name Dell).
