Not sure why downvoted. For nearly a century large multi family wood structures were banned in most countries due to fire risk. These huge apartment buildings are all 2X4's, not timber framing. They're incredibly flammable. The only thing keeping them safe is fire sprinklers. There's been many infernos that burned the things to the ground when sprinklers failed.
