Elon Musk calls out WSJ on Twitter, claims autopilot not engaged in fatal crash

- BugsJustFindMe 6y ago> "There are safety measures in place with the autopilot Seat is weighted to make sure there is a driver, hands must be on steering wheel every 10 seconds or it disengages." People then respond with videos of the Tesla autopilot driving without anyone in the driver seat. So do we believe a guy saying that a thing must be, or do we believe videos showing that a thing is?
- eloff 6y agoI'll take what's behind door number two. Teslas have all kinds of telemetry they report back. Shouldn't they be able to know for sure?

Also, I don’t think Musk would lie when the NHTSA is going to get their hands on vehicle parameters recorded immediately prior to and at impact, which includes Autopilot status, from the data recorder.
