What a joke considering the damage is already done. Big tech coordinated to censor a major communication channel based on politics they didn't like.....during a presidential election season. This should be used as ammunition to break up Apple's monopoly on the app store.
- akiselev 5y agoThe election season was already over and the inauguration was less than two weeks away when Parler got banned.
- taxidump 5y agoAre you implying the ban was warranted at any point in time?
- knz_ 5y agoAre you admitting to supporting a terrorist group?
- Qub3d 5y agoThe reason for the ban was for failing to have a content moderation system at all. I think that was a fair thing to require. And now that Parler has proven it has a system in place, Apple has allowed them back on to their storefront. There are a lot of potential issues with the Parler ban -- namely the revelation of how monopolized online distribution is. But the ban had legitimate reasons behind it.
