A while back I was tasked with getting hundreds of our companies computers back online after a ransomware incident bricked them and for that I needed users passwords. Our company mandates quarterly password changes and as a result I was blown away how many people had some variation of "{company_name}{season}{year}" as their password. I'm convinced these mandatory password changes do more harm than good.
