In many parts of the world parents do not show up for after school athletic events. Firstly such extravagant athletic events are much more limited or even available and secondly the parenting culture is more hands off and less emotionally “supportive”. The parents in many societies only care about the academic achievements of their kids.
- herbst 6y agoIts not only about being less emotionally supportive or anything like that. Many kids sport is simply considered fun there is no huge competitivity and no need for constant parental supervision either.
