The PixelQI IP was acquired by someone else, but I'm pretty sure they've just sat on it. I would kill for a 12.1" 1440x900 QI panel for my X201.

The Pixel Qi IP is apparently now owned by Tripuso Display Solutions.[1] [1] https://www.tripuso.com/ https://www.tripuso.com/

Are they even in business? I mean that site looks like they don’t even want customers...

The best way to find that out is to build a transflective LCD screen. I'm pretty sure they'll be in business only if someone tries to make something.
