What Is Code Quality?
- yosito 6y agoThis article lists some code quality tools for GitHub, which is fine. But I'd find it more useful to have a list of VS Code extensions or CLI tools for code quality first. My starting point for adopting new tools is usually in my local workflow first.
- karmakaze 6y ago> Efficient — good code is succinct I would consider execution space/time to be the measure of 'efficient'. If they mean succinct call it that. This does raise a good point about this list: what it isn't.
- nickm12 6y agoThis is kind of a fluffy article. How do you define "clean" or "useful" code? Unfortunately, code quality is notoriously difficult to measure and many aspects are in the eye of the beholder. It would be helpful to dive deeper into some of these areas.
