  I am a bit uneducated at this but does Brave browser which is based on chromium also have the same problem?

    No, Brave removes everything that has to do with Google from the browser.

      It does ping static1.brave.com every now and then, which seems to use Google gstatic, which in turn uses Cloudflare: https://spyware.neocities.org/articles/brave.html https://spyware.neocities.org/articles/brave.html

    They've said they're going to disable FLoC. Still, this is one of the benefits of Firefox, it's not based on Chromium at all so it's out of the question.
