There aren't many reasons why I'd want to jailbreak my phone nowadays. But there is one functionality that only a jailbroken device can provide: cache clearing of any app. It's infuriating that Apple doesn't let me clear the cache of apps I have installed. It is ultimately up to app developers how a huge part of my storage is used and the vast majority of them don't care about clearing their caches. From time to time I need to reinstall many apps so I can have some free space. I mean, right now Twitter is keeping 450 Mb of cached data in my phone. Cached data that will probably never be hit again due to the nature of Twitter: most things are consumed only once, and very briefly.
