Tangentially related but I know of a surgery where a man lost his nose, they grew a secondary nose somewhere else on his face (so it already has blood vessels going towards it vs transplanting it from in vitro), and then they removed the damaged nose and replaced it with the new nose. If this moves beyond animal tests, the potential is there even for people who got all their teeth.
