Why We Chose to Try Ingenuity Helicopter’s 1st Flight on Mars on Monday
- ggm 6y agoThey're less risk-averse than I expected. I am guessing there are other constraints they are having to plan around, making "fix fast" highly desirable. I would have expected them to go to "nope, upload the real fix and take a week to test it" but they've gone with "85% of the time this works" Instead.
- ggm 6y agoIt worked. I wonder if they apply the real fix now or stick with the monkey patching?
