There’s an additional level on top of this: those same politicians often actually participate in the design of tax structures that enable the same companies to be chastised for utilizing those structures and “not paying their fair share.”
- hirsin 6y agoSurely you don't accuse developers of being in cahoots with the attackers that use their bugs? Now, we fix our bugs, so there's a difference...
- yunohn 6y agoThe politicians are provably benefitting from the loopholes they help legislate. Individuals working at companies are very rarely (or never) benefitting from malicious actors attacking their company.
